How many people can I bring on the boat?
A maximum of 6 people (not including the captain). This is a Coast Guard rule not a Seal in the Sun Charters rule.
Where can I get picked up from?
We have 2 pick up locations. Anclote Village Marina in Holiday (Tarpon Springs) or Seminole Boat Ramp in Clearwater (Clearwater pick up will have a $50 fuel charge added) .
Can I bring a cooler?
Coolers are not necessary. We will have plenty of cooler space for food and beverages. If you must bring a cooler, styrofoam coolers will not be allowed on board (styrofoam is unsafe for the environment).
Can I bring alcohol?
Yes, if you are 21 or over. Drinking responsibly is required. If Capt. Rob believes you are creating an unsafe boating situation due to extreme intoxication, the boat will return to port immediately without a refund.
Can I bring food?
Bring any snacks or food. We have a cooler for food and a separate cooler for drinks.
Can I smoke?
No smoking is allowed anywhere on the boat. You may smoke off the boat as long as your are 50 feet or more away.
Do my children have to wear a life jacket?
All children 8 and under need to wear a life jacket (provided) while the boat is moving.
What kind of shoes should I wear?
Sandals, flip flops, or tennis shoes are fine. No heels or any type of black soles.
What happens if it rains during our trip?
Capt. Rob monitors the weather at all times. He will do his best to avoid storms, but if he feels the weather is dangerous, the boat will return to port for your safety. Refunds will be prorated in the event of a cancellation by Capt. Rob due to unsafe weather conditions.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately no. We do not have the capability to provide for pets of any kind on board.
Will I be able to get a refund if I need to cancel?
A full refund will be given if cancelled at least 48 hours prior to scheduled charter.
What do I need to bring?
Sunscreen (lotion only. No spray lotion - it makes the deck slippery), hat, sunglasses, towel, food,
Is there a bathroom on board?
If necessary, we do have a portable camping toilet in the private changing area.
What recreational gear is provided?
We provide the use of a mask, fins, and snorkel, noodles for floating, bags for shelling, and all safety equipment.
What type of safety equipment is on board?
Capt. Rob makes safety his first priority. Capt. Rob has a lifetime of experience on the water and is certified in First Aid and CPR. Our boat is equipped with all required safety gear including, U.S. Coast Guard approved Type 1 life vests and a ship to shore marine radio with an emergency distress button.
We require our liability release form to be signed before departure of all charters.
